AppraisalGIS.Com:

What is AppraisalGIS.com®?

AppraisalGIS.com® is an innovative online database that links property information with digital mapping and allows this data to be shared with other appraisers.

AppraisalGIS.com® allows for:

  • Quick, easy, instant access to data through the online portal
  • Advanced spatial analysis
  • Purchase and sale of data (sale and lease; vacant and improved properties)
  • Market analysis with Statistics Canada data

How does AppraisalGIS.com® work?

Participating commercial appraisers enter data on properties they have inspected into the online database. They can then create a link between the database and the digital map. AppraisalGIS.com® has over 2000 data input fields for a variety of property types. In addition, it can link census, population, demographic and retail trade information to digital maps. Through AppraisalGIS.com® the user has access to their own data, allowing for spatial analysis, and they can also purchase data from other participants. By using the GIS driven search engine, the user defines their own search polygon on digital mapping allowing them to find the information they need quickly and easily.

AssessmentGIS.Com:

The R&D activities at A Bound also produced an innovative ASP product, AssessmentGIS.com. This product is designed for municipal and provincial / state departments for revenue / property taxation, to carry-out mass property assessments. An artificial intellegence (AI) or Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) component will be developed with the University of New Brunswick.

ALT-ASP:

The Abstract of Legal Title ASP System is designed to significantly enhance an organization's ability to produce a title abstract. This product is of particular interest to title insurance companies and title abstract offices. The ALT-ASP automates the abstract research process. This system enables the user to meet the productivity norms demanded in the competitive market. The functionality offered by the ALT-ASP are shown in the table below:

2D/3D Imagery:

A Bound Corporation has created in conjunction with UNB an innovative solution to 2D/3D imagery of a certain location.

This 2D/3D imagery can be obtained by aerial photography or satellite imagery to produce images with 0.6m resolution. These satellites can take images of anywhere in the world passing over each area every 4 days, so it can provide up to date imagery barring cloud cover. This imagery can be ordered for any identified specific location on the earth and results digitally returned within days.

The company is currently looking for strategic partners to deploy this technology in markets throughout North America, Western Europe and the Commonwealth.

Real Estate Sales:

A Bound Corporation also operates a full service real estate brokerage company, servicing both residential housing as well as commercial property sales and purchases.

Government Mandate:

Although the public sector represents a small portion of our overall revenues, our vision for future significant industry trends has been recently articulated within government policy:

  • a bill was passed in the US requiring vendors who sell computerized content to the Federal Government must develop that content using smart objects (XML Objects) that produce databases of shareable content

It is this leadership that will move the property transaction industry into a new level of efficiency by eliminating the redundancy that has been the norm for this traditional business.
